Who is Connect4Training, and where did you come from? How does Connect4Training find the suppliers who register in our database? Where do they come from? How does Connect4Training qualify the suppliers who you register in your network? Am I going to be able to find suppliers from my geographic area or city from Connect 4Training? How quickly will I expect to get a response from you after I submit my search requirements? How are you different from the many databases I can access on the web? What kinds of companies do you have as customers? How long has your company been in existence? What kinds of training projects have you been involved in? Do you do any training yourselves? Who is Connect4Training, and where did you come from? Connect4Training is a virtual offspring of The Training Broker Inc., a business services company that has been in the business - exclusively - of connecting training suppliers with customers of training since 1995. Connect4Training was conceived to address the growing need, expressed by our clients, for web-based information and faster access to training/learning resources from around the world. The birth of Connect4Training gives suppliers and customers a new, more cost-effective medium through which to connect with each other. Our staff are skilled in training, sales/marketing, and human resources. We are your allies in the training market. How does Connect4Training find the suppliers who register in our database? Where do they come from? The suppliers in Connect4Training's network come to us in a wide variety of ways. Our staff attend most of the major international trade shows and conferences (such as ASTD, Linkage, Lakewood Publications, Masie Center, etc.) where they come away with a great deal of information, and a lot of key supplier contacts. We also invest heavily in major trade journal advertising. As well, we encourage our clients to direct suppliers who contact them, unsolicited, to contact and register with us. How does Connect4Training qualify the suppliers who you register in your network? We encourage all legitimate training vendors to register with us. However, when we get a client request for service, we conduct a pre-screening process on suppliers in our database who generally fit our client's selection criteria. Then, we proceed to more rigorously evaluate each supplier's credentials against our client's selection criteria. This step includes one-to-one discussion as well as reference-checks, and, often a review of their program and/or materials. Am I going to be able to find suppliers from my geographic area or city from Connect 4Training? With a network of over 2500 suppliers from major cities across North America, and some off-shore, you are pretty-well assured of finding resources from us who are in your region. We will attempt to locate suppliers who are closeby, but in this day and age of high speed telecommunications, our clients are finding location to be a less-important factor in selecting the right vendor.
How quickly will I expect to get a response from you after I submit my search requirements? Once you submit your search requirements and selection criteria to us, you can expect a phone call from an Account Manager within 24 hours. Our Account Manager will talk to you to clarify what kind of training program or service you are looking for, as well as the qualities or credentials you are seeking from the provider. We will tell you immediately what we believe will be our chances of locating suppliers who closely fit your needs. Once we fully understand your needs, our search process goes into action. Depending on the complexity of the search, we promise to have your complete Comparative Report in your hands in ten to fifteen business days. How are you different from the many databases I can access on the web? Although we do keep an up-to-date database, we are unique because we consider our suppliers as part of a network. This means that we are in touch with them frequently, getting updates on the services they provide. This helps us respond faster to our client's needs, and with information that is on-target. What kinds of companies do you have as customers? Most of the companies on our customer list are large firms who are high-volume purchasers of external training resources. We also deal with smaller companies and government organizations who come to us less frequently to locate and pre-qualify training resources. How long has your company been in existence? Our company has been in operation since1992. We launched our new web based service in 2000. What kinds of training projects have you been involved in? Searches include everything from customized customer-specific instructor-led programs, to keynote addresses. Whether you need on-line, instructor-led, or a blended/hybrid method of delivery. We have the resources who can help your people improve in softskills, technical, management or computer skills. We have been using our RFI (Request for Information) process since our inception 8 years ago. For vendors, the RFI is a more-streamlined process which saves a great deal of time and effort in finding and being presented for suitable training opportunities. For our large corporate clients, the RFI process saves them a tremendous amount time in narrowing the choices for their strategic training initiatives. The Connect4Training RFI process involves at least one conversation with a client to get a clear picture of their training requirement. We summarize their needs into a RFI document that briefly describes a client's training needs in terms of a training opportunity. We take care in writing each RFI Document that it is professional, and accurate. Do you do any training yourselves? No. We do not provide any training ourselves. We have built our reputation on being the most objective resource for training suppliers. |
